eChemicles is a start-up company developing innovative low-temperature electrochemical technology that can be coupled with renewable energy in order to convert CO2 into synthetic chemicals in a carbon neutral or even negative way. In the FlowPhotoChem project, the company mainly contributes to the development of the EC reactors, as well as to activities that prepare future higher TRL development and the eventual exploitation of the developed technologies.

Dr Tamás Fődi is a chemical engineer (PhD) specialising in the design and optimization of continuous chemical reactors with a focus on the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. He has participated in several domestic and EU R&D&I projects, most recently as a group leader. 

Dr Bíborka Janáky-Bohner is a chemist (PhD) and an IP expert. She keeps in touch with the acting patent attorney to obtain and maintain patent and trademark protection as an IP Manager at eChemicles.

Angelika Samu is a chemist (MSc) and a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Environmental Sciences, University of Szeged. She is working on the development of novel electrolyser technologies at eChemicles.
